Spend the day exploring the best the Island has to offer on this fantastic private VIP tour.

See Ha’amonga, Tonga’s very own Stonehenge and learn about its mysterious origins. Visit the Hufangalupe bridge look out, a Natural Coral bridge where you can sit and watch as Mother Nature shows off. Lastly explore the Anahulu Cave pool, diving in headfirst into an 8-meter-deep freshwater pool. Still not enough? No problem. Just 50 meters from the cave’s entrance lies Anahulu Beach, where you can snorkel and swim to your heart’s content and enjoy a tasty lunch with fresh coconuts! Mainland Hotel Pick up & drop off is included.

Be ready for a 10am pick up from your Mainland hotel or the Wharf.

First thing on the agenda is the Ha’amonga. Yep, Stonehenge isn’t the only legendary prehistoric monument around!

This mesmerizing slice of life was built in 1200AD. Now, the “why” it was built? Sorry, but we don’t have an answer for that. Nobody does. Or who built it for that matter. There are a handful of theories floating about, which you’ll get the chance to hear about from your amazing local Tongan guide.

Once that special piece of history has sunken in, we’ll move on to the Hufangalupe bridge look out. Your only job here is to sit and watch as Mother Nature shows off, sending waves crashing down below with majestic perfection.

The day will come to a close at the Anahulu Cave Pool, situated on the Eastern side of Tongatapu. Comprising a network of large, limestone caverns, all you need to do is follow the stairs down and into the cave after which you can dive headfirst into an 8-meter-deep freshwater pool. Yet another hidden treasure!

Still not enough? No problem. Just 50 meters from the cave’s entrance lies Anahulu Beach, where you can snorkel and swim to your heart’s content for a few hours before we dive headfirst (again) but this time into a tasty lunch with a side of fresh coconuts. Lip licking 100% permitted!

After your day of adventure, we will return you to your hotel with a guaranteed smile on your face!

First thing on the agenda is the Ha’amonga. Yes, Stonehenge isn’t the only legendary prehistoric monument around! This mesmerizing slice of life was built in 1200AD. Now, the “why” it was built? Sorry, but we don’t have an answer for that. Nobody does. Or who built it for that matter. There are a handful of theories floating about, which you’ll get the chance to hear about.

Once that special piece of history has sunken in, we’ll move on to the Hufangalupe bridge look out. Your only job here is to sit and watch as mother nature shows off, sending waves crashing down below with majestic perfection.

At 11am, your guide will then say Bon Voyage as you head on a 30min boat ride to the stunning Fafa Island. You can choose to soak up in a relaxing island walk, or by sunbathing the hours away. The island is guarded by a coral reef ensuring safe swimming and snorkeling in crystal clear blue waters. Due to its beauty and uniqueness the government of Tonga has declared the lagoon and reef around Fafa Island as a special marine protected area.

During your island escape you enjoy a tasty Lunch and a delicious ice-cream dessert.

The boat departs Fafa island at 4pm and on your return to the Wharf, your driver will be waiting for you to continue your adventure.

Get a photo with the famously rare 3 headed coconut tree, then could there possibly be a better way to end such an incredible trip than to watch the sun set behind the blow holes? Some reach up to 18 meters high through holes in the coral reef. This particular stretch of coastline is known as the Mapu ‘a Vaea (otherwise known as “the chief’s whistle”) Tongans name it as such because the spouts make a distinct whistling sound.

Your guide will return you to your Crystal cruise ship by 6pm
